From the Bee Yard

From the Bee Yard

Creek Road Homestead is a working Apiary

If you take a stroll around the homestead you will most likely run into a bee or two. On the far side of the property is the bee yard, 12 hives full of busy bees. Some years we have plenty of honey to share, other times, just enough for the bees to feed themselves through the winter. The last few years have been a bit rough for our bees. Many of the hives are in re-building mode so we will probably have a lean honey year. We do sell your honey when we can so email us if you are interested.

2023 Honey update. The honey harvest is better than expected with so few production hives. We are have honey to share. 12oz jars are now ready and soon we will have a few jars of Chunk Honey! Email me or check our shop page. Local pick up only

The Hatton House

The Hatton House

The Hatton House sits on 20 acres of beautiful Texas Hill Country land, just 2 miles outside of Dripping Springs, TX.

The original house was built around 1857, restored and added onto by the previous owners, Ester and A.R. Hatton in 1942. Through the last 20 years we have maintained, repaired and added few "up-grades", always keeping in mind the charm and character of Ester and A.R. Decorated with many of their own belongings, pictures, books and furnishing, you get a hint into the lives of this unique couple.

We spent several years offering this home as a Bed and Breakfast. To us that means creating and offering you a space of comfort. For feeding our guest well. To provide a place for our to roam. Take your time to walk down to the creek, smell the budding lavender field, and pick some fresh veggies from the garden. A place to spend time in nature with family and friends.

We Currently are taking a break from Hosting the Bed and Breakfast. Check back in the future to see when we reopen
